Privacy policy
Last updated November 1, 2026
Maidan helps you book sports courts and play with others. This policy says what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Profile: your avatar, sports, skill levels, and the city and neighbourhood you choose to add.
- Activity: courts you book, games you host or join, scores, and ratings you give or receive.
- Technical data: device type, app version and sign-in records, used to keep your account secure.
How we use it
- To make and manage your bookings, and share them with the venue you booked.
- To show your name and avatar to players in the same game or squad.
- To match you with games at your level and near your area.
- To keep Maidan safe, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Who sees it
Venues see the bookings made at their courts, with the booker's name. Players in your game see your name, avatar and level. We do not sell your data. Service providers that host our servers and send our emails process it on our behalf under contract.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data. Export your account from the app, or contact us to delete it. We keep booking records a venue needs for its own records for up to 12 months after deletion, without your name.
